SPIRIT DISEASE: Recording Plans Outlined
December 26, 2004Finnish death/thrash band SPIRIT DISEASE have commenced the songwriting process for their full-length debut. "If things go according to our plans, we will start making some preproduction demos of the new songs during the spring, and once that's done we will head to the good old D-Studio to record the full-length CD that at least some of you guys have been waiting for," the band write on their web site. "We're planning to record 12 songs this time. No extremely short 'songs' this time, unless we do something like 'Horse (The Return)' or stuff like that. At the moment the CD has (at least) two working titles: 'Annihilation' and 'Architects Of Aggression'. We will have to discuss about the final title of the CD sometime next year too... and it will probably change. Ha ha!"
SPIRIT DISEASE's debut mini-CD, "Redemption Denied", was released in October via Vortex Motions Records. The EP features six original songs and a cover of the DEATH classic "Evil Dead". An MP3 of the track "Sadistic Belated Abortion" can be downloaded at this location.
